Position: Full sun

Soil: Well-drained

Flowering season: Summer

Good for pollinators

Uses: Wildlife, Cottage Garden, Fragrance, Hedging and rows, Borders and beds, Containers, Coastal, Mediterranean.

Planting: Lavender grows best in low to moderately fertile well drained sandy soils. Add grit to improve drainage.


Maintenance: Prune annually when the flowers have faded taking care not to cut into old wood. Cut back leafy stems to within 5cm of woody stems.
