Description: Hyacinths are bulbous perennial producing dense spikes of very fragrant flowers in Spring. Can be grown indoor or outdoor. 

Once the flowers have faded, cut the flowering stem. The bulbs can be planted in the garden then for next year.

Height: 0.2 x 0.2m

Light requirement: Bright, indirect sunlight is preferable

Water requirement: Keep moist but not soggy during the warm season. Allow the top layer to dry before watering in winter. Misting the leaves is essential to prevent the browning of the tips

Soil: moist but well-drained (bulb planting compost or house plant compost are suitable)

Feeding: Feed the bulbs once the flowers are finished as it is when the bulb needs to be replenished. 

Toxicity: The skin of the bulb can irritate the skin. Wearing gloves is advised when manipulating those. Toxic if eaten.
