Anthriscus sylvestris ‘Ravenswing’ is a striking cow parsley valued for its finely divided, deep purple foliage and clouds of small white umbels in late spring to early summer. Tall, airy stems weave through borders and cottage-style plantings, pairing well with early perennials for a natural look. Grow in sun or light shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil; deadhead after flowering if you wish to limit self-seeding. Deciduous and fully hardy in Ireland, it typically reaches around 1–1.2m with a slender spread.
