Alcea rosea Rose

The alcea or hollyhock is a tall, short-lived perennial. This slender herbaceous can reach over two metres with its flowering stems, bearing funnel-shaped flowers.

Aspect: Full sun 

Soil: Moist but well-drained

Uses: Cottage garden, Borders and beds, banks and slopes, Cut flowers

Good for pollinators.
